I reckon somebody bought dresses, sewed them in and returned them. Pretty good thing in my opinion

Re: Cry for help found in primark clothes
I totally agree. I can't imagine poor uneducated workers abroad would have that sort of English vocabulary. I am not sure these protests do anything. There have been numerous reports and documentaries discussing sweatshops and yet my local Primark is always full and YT is full of YTs doing Primark hauls.shitgurussay wrote:I reckon somebody bought dresses, sewed them in and returned them. Primark's response:
If both items are from the same store then it's quite obvious the labels were attached in the UK and not abroad where they were manufactured. As some other posters pointed out, the level of English is enough to cause suspicion.
Primark's response:
Makes sense, this seems like a hoax.We have had two instances of this issue arising in Swansea, raising a number of suspicions for us:
1 . The labels appear to be of a very similar type, attached to the garments in the same way.
2. The two garments were on sale around the same time in 2013.
3. They were made in two different countries many thousands of miles apart.
