Hell, there are tons of anatomical reasons a person might not be right for the piercing. If your stomach protrudes there, like Kai Kai's, that can lead to rejection. But the same thing can happen if you naturally fold through your navel when you bend over at the waist, as I learned the hard way. Despite how apparently easy it is to perform one, they're just not for everybody - someone above said they're basically surface piercings, but shops don't really go over this. So you have ridiculously weighted bars with bizarre danglies on the bottom ball that are just begging to snag on something and rip that bar right out.

But then, Kai had absurdly good luck in not having that way-too-long lip stud pulled out for all those years, so who knows. She may just keep her danglies in there for ages, and be telling Graythee bedtime stories about mama's camgirl years when she danced and ate pot pie and got money for it.
