Katie pretty much admitted on tonight's vlog that she only homeschools the girls so she doesn't go to jail. And she didn't know the definition of the word "fetus" - a grown woman who has been pregnant three times. I swear sometimes I think parents ought to undergo testing when they sign up to homeschool to ensure that the kids have some sort of academic role model. With Paige and Katie as teachers Annie and Hayley had better hope they are still cute when adolescence is over.

What? When did she say that? She would seriously prefer if the girls weren't in school? If I wasn't before, now I'm REALLY concerned about the situation those girls are in.

Funny you should ask. I was actually ranting about that a bit today, because my daughter checked out the Tiger Beat magazine at the grocery store today. He doesn't _do_ anything. Not that I can see, anyway. Somehow, he and his family have made a business out of being hangers on. His older brother has acted a little. He basically posts lots of pictures on IG. I don't know how he got the following he has. He isn't even that cute. He can't sing. He can't rap. And he can't act. How did the Leblancs even meet him in the first place? Does anyone know?

That photo spread was just awful. Annie is made up to look like at least a 16 year old. And Hayden has his signature bored look in almost every picture. They have pictures of people they look up to. One of Hayden's was Jake Paul. That tells me all I need to know about what he's like and what his parents have raised him to think is important. And Katie is letting her daughter hang out with this kid constantly.

It’s so odd that tweens idolize and look up to these vlogger kids. Annie and Hayden for example; they don’t do anything. As stated above, Hayden has no talent. So why all the fawning? And Annie has a decent voice but no real personality, if you take away the lavish lifestyle, they’d both be like any other 13 year olds.

Being from a country were homeschooling is against the law, this is all truly bizarre to me. It sounds like the recipe for disaster to have unfit people/parents taking over such a vital part of a child's formation into their own hands.

Couldn't agree more. Here in the UK home schooling is not a big thing, and the Department for Education recently announced a crackdown on the practice. Here's what I commented in another vlog:

Please don't consider home schooling as an alternative to proper schooling. Children need to grow up and learn among and with their peers, not closeted in a room at home over a computer screen. They need to become aware of other pupils' needs, and understand why and how some teachers are different, better or worse than others. From what I've seen in other vlogs of families who practise home schooling, the experience often appears quite lackadaisical, without real commitment. And for those parents who consider themselves to be good teachers, how long ago were they at school or college? Professional teachers on the other hand don't have, and shouldn't have, any emotional attachment to their students, whereas parents are always going to treat their children first and foremost as their offspring, not students to be taught. Home schooling? Stay away!

I get what you mean but their parents actually sailed that 'ship'. I think it was Sydnastical's mom who said that she thought Sydney and Caleb would get married and it got picked up by the fans. I however don't remember if she said it before or after Caleb died.

What Sydney's mom said about her and Caleb at his funeral was kind of sweet, but the way these fans have carried on with it kind of puts words into Caleb's mouth. Did HE want to marry Sydney? He had quite a few female friends, if he only knew some of them online. There's no telling what he would have done with his life. That's part of what's so sad when someone so young dies. We'll never know the rest of their story.

As for how and why Hannie met, maybe I'm paranoid, but I'm starting to think Hannie was at least partially planned. The parents (and likely Annie) knew that the fans shipped her with any boy she so much as stood near, so why travel across the country just to meet some kid who has a reputation for being famous for creating "ships" with girls his age? Immediately, from the first picture, there were comments about "Hannie," which I thought was stupid at the time because they were never supposed to even meet again! Or were they?

Someone asked how old Mackenzie Z is. She is six months older than Annie (13), who is four months older than Hayden. Yes, he was barely 12 when these dick pics were supposedly sent and also pics where Mackenzie giving him a lap dance. (Which was her fault, according to the fans - "She probably forced him"). I know we would like to think this kind of thing doesn't go on among young kids, but it happens, especially in such an environment where raising your kids right is not necessarily the parents' top priority. I'm guessing Annie and Hayley have grown up and changed a lot in the past six months, and not all in good ways.

Their life seems to basically revolve around becoming "stars". Have we ever heard them talk about colleges they'd like to attend, or goals for the future beyond getting 5M followers on Instagram? I know the girls are still young but they seem to be living under the illusion that their Youtube fame will never end.

And then the minions went nuts, and there was all the "I just can't, with the way they look at each other!" comments--which I just don't see. I have never seen them gazing at each other lovingly. So Kenzie "forced" Hayden to have a lap dance? Right. Like I've said, he has older brothers who hang out with Nickelodeon stars and party in Hollywood. I am sure he's not very innocent.

I wonder how much education they are getting. Hayley ia getting minimal guidance from any parent until she was strugglinf with math and failed a test because 'she clicked on the wrong answers'. In one of the vlogs, katie aaid annie is doing school in the room and when she opens the door, annie was practically snuggled in bed in a comfy sleeping position, doing 'school' on her laptop. How much can a child learn this way? I think the least they can do is to do school sitting in an upright position? At least previously in MD they had a school room with desks and an environment where studying is possible.

In the new house, Annie would lie on the couch, with her phone right next to her, and when the rabbit was little, she would even have the rabbit in her lap while she was "studying". She hasn't sat at a desk or even a table to do school work in I don't know how long. They had that little room upstairs that they turned into yet another TV room instead of using it for school.
Plus, how much can they concentrate with bored Katie sticking her camera in their faces and interrupting them? Especially when she and Annie were alone in the hotel rooms, she would always be breaking in on her studying, saying "Oh, you need to do another hour." "Another 45 minutes". Just keep the camera off until she gets done! Find something else to entertain yourself besides your daughter.

Hay had set up the camera in front of her and was doing a really cute little segment about her new craft set (painting rings) she was halfway through talking about painting it and literally mid-word, Katie picked the camera up and away from Hayley because Paige was doing something "funny".

I haven't seen the evidence myself (which is fine with me - it's child porn), but at the same time the dick pics and rumors surfaced (mentioned by someone else upthread), there were other rumors of a lap dance and even worse, with evidence of those too. I wouldn't have believed it but these were minions who love Hayden (or Hannie) who had seen the pics and were defending him "People change!!" and that kind of thing. They asked other fans to keep quiet about it in case the info scared the LeBlancs off and kept Hannie from happening but it is obvious Katie and Billy don't give a shit as long as the money and fame keep rolling in. Make of all that what you will.

To answer someone else, I don't know who introduced Hayden and Annie but right from the first picture, even before the water fountain thing, there was some faint shipping going on in the comments. But about the water fountain "scene" -- why would a girl as shy as Annie who wasn't used to being around boys and who had never met this boy and had no plans of meeting him again act so flirty and free and easy around him unless maybe she had had some instruction to do. so? I don't know, I just wouldn't put anything past these people (RYH and Katie/Billy).

Annie has used her desk in her room at home. It seems like she actually does reasonably well under those conditions--at least she is trying to focus and I think she has gone up there when downstairs is chaotic. The only table in the apartment is in the thick of things...while she uses it sometimes, I don't think it is often quiet enough to work. I don't know if she actually cares about learning but I do think she tries to get it done, this year at least. She does better when she is not being dragged to thirty places and spending half the day in LA traffic. Which is fair. She shouldn't be squeezing school into fifteen minutes here and there.

I was pretty annoyed by Katie vlogging while Hayley was taking a test and saying Paige and Annie would be back soon but not shutting up and letting Hayley finish before the girls came back noisy and wanting to eat. Is she trying to sabotage them? (I think she just gets bored.)
