you guys who live in the USA are so lucky about returns. where im from you cant return/exhange used items. if u want to return or exchange something it must be within three days and with tags intact. oh and u can never return cosmetics or skincare used or unused. so i find it really bizarre when people return stuff after using it for a month?

Most stores in the UK will accept returns of unworn unused clothing within 30 days, with a receipt.

Most definitely not on make-up, unless it is faulty in some way.

QVC will, of course, accept returns whether it is used or not but they are an exception

you typically cannot return used items. Sephora and CVS have great return policies and you can return used items there (like cosmetics), but most retail stores do not accept returns. Luxury stores are fairly strict about them too. If I had to guess, I would imagine she's a serious bitch to them and is persistent until she gets her way.

I've always found the opposite--I worked at Macy's and the customer is ~always right~ there. Like we had to accept returns that REEKED of weed or had blood on it and not say a thing. I think it varies a lot from store to store, even based on location. But somewhere like LA where people probably buy/wear/return expensive shit to keep up appearances, you'd think they'd be pretty strict.
