only just started and he's already been caught on having someone else running his social media.
if his team is running his account like this already, it won't be long until his fans start seeing the disconnection.
rupaul's twitter account is also filled with inspirational phrases, the reason people know it's all bs and not honest in the slightest is because if you search for one of the phrases, you'll find the same tweet or nearly identical in rupaul's account, from months or maybe years prior.

Discord has text chat, voice chat, and video chat. You can create different channels under each type of chat and give access to the channels based on whether supporters have payed a certain amount on Patreon.

I think one of them is Ross Everett (I'm like 99% sure about this) and the other is someone at Maker. He and Lindsay always talk about how screwed over he got from the sale and never got his share.

Watching some of the old sourcefed videos it sometimes came across that Phil looked down on Ross Everett and didn't respect or especially like him, so I was really surprised to find out that he was meant to be Phil's best man? I get that Phil was apparently hurt by things Ross said to others, but in all honesty only a narcissist would consider that kind of one-sided relationship to be a genuine friendship. I think Phil was in the friendship for the wrong reasons(liked feeling superior and getting his ass kissed) just as much as Ross was.

Watching some of the old sourcefed videos it sometimes came across that Phil looked down on Ross Everett and didn't respect or especially like him, so I was really surprised to find out that he was meant to be Phil's best man? ^ It's the complete opposite of the kind of content that Phil gave the impression he would be producing. Kind of like an even more amateur tabletalk with some buzzfeed thrown in. I honestly thought it was a joke release to kind of poke fun at everyone with low expectations.

Dani seems cool and it was introduced as being one of the 'lighter' news shows that will be on the network, but... why is the video of him announcing the network and patreon elite ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7frDFkW05k ) a million times more professional looking and well thought out than the actual content he's putting out? So far the donations seem to be basically going towards paying people to hang out with Phil rather than anything of quality.

Holy crap that video. I expected Lindsay's family to maybe be the racist family, not his. No wonder he was so butthurt when someone called him mayo and threw a fit at MTV's video "Dear White People". They DISOWNED him because he dated a black girl? Wtf.
And totally agree with you about him throwing Dani under the bus if that show or whatever that is doesn't take off. He's done it before to her, nothing is going to stop him from doing it again, just like how he continuously threw sourcefed and everyone there under the bus too.
He's been using the "second baby on the way" excuse since Lindsay was 3 months pregnant. I doubt he's even doing much to prepare, Lindsay is the one doing most of the work it seems. He said he's taking a week off when the baby comes, that's it.

That "Yuck City" video is laughable. Seriously, laughable.

You'd think people donating would want something informative or educational or polished. Instead they get a group of people bantering back and forth during "a show" when the viewers can already catch all of that on the vlog. Maybe it's just me, I think the days of people being satisfied with a roundtable format are over. Sure, it's cheap to produce and doesn't take any time to prepare, but what a slap in the face to all the donors who are paying for this--especially the ones who say Phil is their only news source.

There's something else that's been on my mind for awhile.

Preface: I am an overweight woman. I'm not meaning to body shame or insinuate a thin woman brings more value than one who carries extra weight. Having said that, I'm about to share an honest thought and question that keeps coming up for me.

Remember, back in the day, when Phil would do a daily feature of a really beautiful sorority girl or find ways to work in stories about porn actresses? Remember when he would show risque selfies female fans sent him ?

I remember, near the beginning of the Defranco Fam vlogs Lyndsey complaining that girls would send him NSW messages to their DeFranco family FB account.

I've noticed that Phil seems to only surround himself with female employees who are overweight and, compared to the women he used to objectify, not overly attractive. I have to wonder if he made a deal with Lyndsey to never hire women he might be sexually attracted to and tempted by.

Of course thin and attractive doesn't automatically mean a woman is going to be a good news commentator (or have anything relevant to add to a roundtable discussion), but let's be real. This is supposed to be a business. Having attractive hosts would bring in the views. People want to tune in to see something extraordinary--either beautiful or charismatic or opinionated or highly intelligent and aware of what's going on. The people Phil seems to hire all seem so average, dispassionate, almost as bitter as he is, and don't have anything interesting or compelling to say.

Okay, sure, you could say, "But that's how MSM has done it for decades. They'd hire some ditzy bleach blonde and never the woman who was 50-100lbs overweight. Phil is just keeping it real." The thing is, I don't buy it. I don't think he's trying to go against the norm. I think his motives are more selfish. I'm just wondering if it's to please his wife or for some other reason.

Part of it could also be because he wouldn't want someone to outshine him in being attractive, smart, aware or passionate. This is basically screaming a high school kid (usually girl) that surrounds themselves with nice people that won't stand up to them and uses them as a means of feeling better about themselves. Therefore, Phil is able to throw them under the bus anytime he wants because they won't say anything. Chances are, some are also fans of Phil.

That's some fucked up shit even for Phil.
