My heart breaks for Collette. I said it before; he completely made her life his. I'm sure she feels so alone because everyone in her life are either his family or his friends. Of course their kids, but they're hurting also, and she doesn't need to put her pain on them.

Youtubers are always talking about how they dont show everything on camera. I believe shay even mentioned it in a blog before. Makes you wonder how long things were going downhill for. I don't think he just up and started messaging the pornstar Twitter girl...

I'm glad Phil is blatantly ignoring the story. It's not a story... It's a man ruining his and his families lives with his selfish ways.

What is exactly this new story? And from where do you know that Phil decided to not run it?

That's cowardly, that he'd only send it to Phil. He knows that because of their friendship, Phil will go easy on him (if he ever decides to talk about it in the first place), and won't do any investigation or exposing.

Yeah, the Phillip Defranco "statement" was about Corey / Vlogumentary, not the alcoholism/infidelity. Shay was telling Keemstar that he wasn't interested in giving a statement to him.

SO what was the point of him posting those 2 videos...an apology and then one laughing like its no big deal as he drives to rehab and then goes drinking... what was the point of those 2 videos? i thought he was getting back into vlogging but if his wife kicked him out then there's none of that. what a weird downward spiral.... i guess its true what they say about being nice to everyone on your way up cause you see them back on your way down from the top.

I'm guessing he figured he'd get back into vlogging, but after realizing a lot of his fans didn't immediately jump to his arms again, and having to relive all of the cheating drama/vlogumentary drama, and not really having much to film, he figured he'd stay off YT for awhile. I sure would do the same!

In what video is he seen drinking again? I can't be bothered to look through the whole of the two cousin videos. Also i'm confused, he relapsed but posted it onto youtube knowing his wife and family would see it and find out? Colette deserves so much better.

Oh wow, what the hell. He seriously seems odd in the clip where he admits to it. I hope he told colette before uploading it that he relapsed. To me, it's obvious he not only needs a better rehab program but also a mental health professional. Trying to get through to someone with an addiction is so hard, and he's shown time and time again that he chooses that over his wife and family. That can be a painful thing to feel, especially since he cheated on her while drunk (apparently) it probably brought up multiple wounds in Colette. I hope she is also seeking some type of therapy.

Sorry to double post; but also someone that so recently got out of rehab should not put themselves in situations where they know they may be likely to relapse. Did the program not tell him this when he called saying he was personally going to admit his cousin? He went alone, to LA, with his cousin who is a drug addict and alcoholic. I'm not saying not to ever hang around people that have addictions but it would be different if he was checking him in right away then leaving, or staying a few days himself, but he knew that they'd have time to do whatever for a couple days before he checked in. I believe it was just another way of Shay chasing a short term high (the endorphins of feeling like he solely is saving someone and the vacation/ getting drunk)

I bet Colette heart was in the stomach when he came up with this idea. Anyone from an outside perspective would be able to see it was not smart.

I feel like he shouldn't have gone by himself (alone with his cousin) to rehab. They should've brought somebody with them as a sort of buffer or whatever you want to call it, to keep them BOTH out of trouble.

The thing that's weird to me about drinking with his cousin is why would the cousin even think it's OK for Shay to drink with him?? Doesn't it show the cousin that the rehab place doesn't work - or that rehab is pointless and just keep drinking/doing drugs?? It reveals Shay is irresponsible on SO MANY LEVELS.

Colette needs to kick him off the property until he can really be trusted again.

I also wonder if they are going to keep the bar at Pebble Creek open. I wouldn't be surprised if that's where Shay was doing the bulk of his drinking last winter. It's probably hard to quit drinking if you own a bar.
