Who is actually subscribed to Zoe on YouTube or social media?

I don't follow her on any and very, very rarely watch a full video, I don't tend to watch her main channel at all.

I only have her on snapchat but I should probably delete it...I think I was subscribed 3-4 years ago to her vlogging channel and then quickly unsubscribed when she started getting on my nerves.

Zoe needs to stop putting fake tan on her face, it just gathers at her spots making her look so so bad!

it's also way too dark!! I think the best fake tans are subtle, not this horrendous nutella like fake stuff she puts on!
Also is it good for your skin? I've never used it but I can't imagine it's ideal for acne prone skin? Could well be wrong though!

How spineless. This Louis channel looks to be dieing anyway and by that i mean in a few years he might only be taking home the same as a 24k job.

They've "raised" 2k more since i looked at it last night.

Louis is totally cringe, go to Africa and shake hands with poor locals while ramming a camera in their face counts as "crossing barriers". He looks every bit the trustafarian.

Sorry to continue this as I know it's OT but ugh. I agree, there is something really unnverving about someone appointing themselves as someone to illuminate other cultures to "us" as opposed to learning of them through their art / literature etc - their own words and stories. its so dehumanising. and yeah the fact that he makes his money from big co operations to which poorer communities suffer. but nothing will happen in protest, and likely he will get help from gleamers etc to make it look as though ppl are donating.
Anyway slightly more on topic. compare niomi and zoe's response to the attack..
sorry again if this is inarticulate. the whole thing is just sickening.

So they have finally got around to doing a decent photoshoot for Sugg Life? About bloody time! I couldn't believe that it was the day before/ day of the launch that they took those in the first place. Also, does everyone remember how badly the website for the Creator Store was delayed- Alfie said in a vlog a few days ago that the original photos they took were the wrong size which messed up the website (hence the launch delay). How unprofessional that they just took photos and hoped for the best.

Mind you, with the fracas with delivery that followed, I'm amazed they have the brass neck to continue on with the whole thing.

I follow her on Youtube and Snapchat, but the reason I didn't unsub on YT is laziness -- I don't watch her videos anymore tho, except if it's worth for the lolz.
About Snapchat, I only followed her after I've seen a couple of pictures posted on GG about all the ridiculous things she does on her daily, "very productive" day. As I don't go on SC so often, I don't watch her stuff.

I'm not disparaging someone whose mental illness prevents them from interacting with the world in a totally independent way, trust me. I understand that... but Zoe reminds me more of being in that stage of life where you've just moved out of the house to go to university, you're living in dorms, etc... and all you do is hang around the student housing in your PJs, slob around with your same friends, order takeout, and complain about eventually getting around to studying. When you go out it is to the same places, or to force yourself to go to class. That is like Zoe's life right now, arrested development, living like she is a kid who is out on their own but doesn't have the capacity to actually develop an adult identity. Because eventually you grow up and mature and start making your life, developing your interests, etc.

Someone brought up Tanya in the last thread as a comparison between the two lives and I totally agree. I know Tanya isn't popular here either and don't get me wrong-- I don't like her myself, she lives in an alternate reality like all the others. But when you compare Zoe to other YTers her age, YTers who still live in privilege in their own little bubble, the difference is just crazy. Tanya and others have actual real lives, they get up and run their own errands, go to appointments, have their 'meetings', create an actual adult life with their partners, cook meals, plan vacations, etc.

They build actual real lives. Zoe is just like this weird gremlin that seems to have grown out of the house itself. Who even is she anymore? She doesn't seem to have any sort of curiosity, intellect, etc. If she can't get around that much on her own without panic/anxiety, alright. Why not do something like learn to play the piano? Take up painting? Have a tutor come in to teach you a language? But Zoe sees herself as a perfected product. As long as she looks cute in her viewfinder when she's filming her favourites, that's all she needs anymore.

I think the thing is, once you stop doing a job or school etc, and you start doing nothing, it then becomes harder and harder to find the motivation to do ANYTHING. I found this when I was briefly unemployed, although I had grand notions of learning an instrument/ reading loads, the less I was doing the harder it was to then get the motivation to do anything more... not to defend Zoe at all, it's her own laziness that's caused this. But I don't get how it doesn't drive her round the bend! I was going nuts after 2 months, and during that time I still socialised, ran errands and visited friends all over the country! I would go crazy just indoors all day watching the same films and eating shitty food.
I think she needs some help, and to take a bigger role in her own business. If she was really doing all she says she is she'd be run off her feet all day producing bath stuff, writing novels, designing and launching products, not to mention cooking for herself, walking Nala and seeing her friends. She has the money to travel etc so why limit yourself to this dull repetitive life!

Oh, I totally agree... I was the same way when I came out of school unemployed. I had just finished my MA and thought in my 'time off' I was going to read so many books, volunteer, be out exploring new things every day, etc. Lol. It's true what you say-- once you don't have a schedule, once you have the ability to just lay around, once you aren't "busy"-- it becomes even more difficult to actually do new things. You find yourself in a total slump. And that's where Zoe is, but she lives in an echo chamber surrounded by 'yes men' that tell her she's the busiest person ever who needs MORE time for herself. Zoe's anxiety/depression issues are exacerbated by her lifestyle. I've said before-- if the girl got herself an office space downtown that WASN'T just another playpen for her friends to come eat junk food and play with toys do grade school shit-- a space that was well supplied and decorated, where she got up, dressed, and drove there almost every day to work and plan and film with her assistants-- I think it would improve her own mental health.

I've always maintained that part of her problem is that terrible house. They have no work/life divide. It's just like this giant bed that they lie in every day. They should both be off doing their own thing throughout the work day-- they can both finance work spaces-- and come home and turn off their 'YouTube' selves.

I went through the same thing when I was unemployed, and while I agree that the lack of structure is not helpful, I think it's much much worse when your confidence is being torn apart because you can't find a job, despite knowing you are qualified for one. I'm sure Zoe has been offered many opportunities that would keep her busy, but she says no and/or does the bare minimum when she takes something on. I think she is also inherently very lazy and lacks ambition.

^I agree on comparing Zoe with other YouTubbers. I see Niomi and Victoria and I think they are taking all those amazing opportunities that Gleam offers. Im sure Gleam doesn't include Zoe anymore on trips or events invitations, but is so ashame seeing someone as young as Zoe wasting her life being a child.

She is on her twenties, with money and opportunities. But when you are lazy not even money can help.

I bet she thinks she have achieved so much cause she has money. But she is the living proff that you can be rich and do nothing but waste your life.

Why is she still wearing those glasses and why is she okay with her hair and skin in their current state? The fake tan makes everything look even worse.

RE: Fake tan on acne,
I get a spray tan once a month (for cheerleading competitions/comic conventions because im pale af) and the formula used at the place I go to actually clears my skin. Its a clear formula that gets darker over night.
obviously this is not what zoes using lmao

I watched joes Vlog just to see their tanned skin LOL hilarious.
Is she physically incapable of seeing herself in someone else's screen and not go "omg look at me" it's bad enough she films her main channel videos and stares at herself the screen the whole time without having her do the same with other peoples videos.

a bit OT but i came across Jaakemate's most recent video talking about the london terror attacks and he was praising all the people that helped and talked about the policeman that was killed, he was also going to donate the money made from the video to charity but youtube said the video wasnt eligable for monetisation because it's offensive, got a feeling this is why zoe and alfie dont comment on these kinds of things, they care too much about the money

YouTube is doing that alot at the moment with the advertiser boycott it's all done automatically.

Zoe Alf would never do a whole video on it. But to ignore it all together and and not even mention it but instead to a fundraiser for some already wealthy guy to travel is a whole new level.

Re Zoe and lazy, if she can make so much money and enjoys being lazy i don't see the big issue if she's happy. I "only " work 2-3 months of the year, the rest of the year i do enjoy chilling and often only change out of loungeware and have a shower come 6pm gym time. Most people are wasting their life away in a job they hate, she gets to waste her life away at home so no better or woorse than most people.
