I'm so addicted to all those sour candies, the "rocks" with the powder inside them, the gummies with the sour sugar on them and salty liquorice. Also made the biggest mistake last week and tasted salt and vinegar crisps for the first time... Now I think they'll relentlessly haunt me forever lol.
Any suggestions, be it fruit, veggie or anything else, to replace these food items? I'm so over chocolate and other sweets but I feel like I'm just incapable or somehow blinded to come up with something to replace these things with Also wonder if these cravings are symptoms of some deficiency... For the record I don't really care for citrus as a replacement as it just feels so ruthless for my teeth to eat those. (Well, maybe better than candy)
Thanks for reading and answering!

umeboshi!! japanese pickled plums! they are super sour and kinda salty ( cos they're pickled). i wouldn't necessarily say they are 100% healthier but, at least they are an actual food?

Freeze dried strawberries; they're so good and taste like candy.
Salt and vinegar coconut chips; they're a little sweet but still hit the craving.

Thanks for all the suggestions Ooh umeboshi seems interesting, hopefully I can find some and try it out. Never heard of coconut chips! Seems interesting, definitely gonna try if I can find some I like dried mango too! Didn't think of those as a substitute on my own though, thanks!

Not sure if you've heard of quest bars ? It has some fake sugar in it but helps me instead of eating a candy bar!

I only eat sugarless candies, or have honey covered roasted sunflower seeds, cashews and almonds. I also only eat dark chocolate, I like mixed frozen fruit ( has honey melons, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and strawberries) and top it with some greek yogurt and flax seeds.
